The key for a successful business is to process the highest quality raw materials. The electrical steel processed by Deesan Core Lamination can be subdivided into 4 different groups.
Over many years of continuous business with the world’s leading steel mills, the purchasing organisation of Deesan Core Lamination has developed important and strategic partnerships based upon mutual respect and the desire to have a long term competitive cooperation. These partnerships have enabled Deesan Core Lamination to have in-depth knowledge of global steel sources in order to secure stability of supply, whilst maximising technological development and competitiveness.
This strategy has successfully enabled Deesan Core Lamination to deliver value to customers and suppliers.
With an established history of precision stamping across a wide range of materials, DEESAN is uniquely placed to offer stamping capabilities for the more challenging grades of electrical steel, including 0.10mm gauge, ultra-high silicon, NiFe and CoFe, plus the standard range of silicon and pole steels.
Using high quality progression and development tooling, the electrical steel laminations product range covers all requirements, including HEV and EV drives, renewable energy and aerospace and defense applications.
A range of stacking options are available, including interlocking, bonding and welding, with a program of continued investment in the latest technologies, processes and equipment.
In-house Wire EDM capability to single micron tolerances and access to laser cutting.
T-segment laminations are increasingly being used to maximise raw material utilisation and winding density.
A range of bespoke transformer and choke laminations, including EI, EE and T&U laminations. The range also extends to solenoid and shunt laminations and shims.
Traditional use stator and rotor laminations for motors and generators, with the option to supply stator and rotor only and armature laminations
All laminations are made from high-quality electrical steel of 0.20 to 1 mm in thickness. Deesan Core Lamination offer products in the form of rotor and stator laminations and assembled stator and rotor stacks.
The market for electric motors is increasingly demanding in terms of product complexity, shorter design to market time, price competitiveness, and high service level.
Deesan Core Lamination meets these demands as a global leading partner who can offer solutions from dedicated production facilities, which provide the best fit for all our customers’ requirements.
To achieve this we have become a master craftsmen of our historical technologies (tool design and manufacture, blanking, die-casting, core assembly, and slinky).
We also cooperate as partners in the development of new families of magnetic steels. We identify and develop cutting-edge new technologies (for example laser welding, self-bonding steels, in-die gluing) and approach new business opportunities with a structured Project Management, who have access to fast prototyping and numerical tools to simulate processes and designs to mitigate risks in serial production.
